Is Ashleigh an acceptable boys name or will he be teased at school?

i dont think your boy will appreciate having ashleigh as a name. i think he'd like nancy better.

Is Ashleigh an acceptable boys name or will he be teased at school?
Pshh... its all in how he reacts. If he grows up to be the kind of kid that gets picked on, its likely not just because of his name- if not for the name, other kids would have found something else. Its just how kids work- so, name him whatever you love and raise him to be strong and confident, and he'll be JUST FINE!
Reply:AshLEIGH is very feminine.

Try Ashley. That's the origin.

But, yeah, he'd be teased constantly.

Asher is good, just not "Ashton"- he will become 'a**-ton"
Reply:I think a different spelling would be okay, like Ashley. I think the leigh makes it sound too feminine. But its whatever you like.
Reply:He will Be teased Im sorry he will, How about Ashton? but Ashley, not even as a middle name, Kids always find for the smallest thing to make fun of
Reply:Why not Ashton or Asher? Ashleigh is a bit too feminine in this day and age and frankly kids are cruel.
Reply:Not an acceptable name currently, it might have been 100 years ago.. but now.. nope.

If you want to use it.. put it as a middle name.

Reply:I work with a guy names Ashleigh, I think hes ok with it. A lot of people ask him about it.
Reply:In most schools across the USA, he would be teased.
Reply:Ashley.
Reply:He will definitely get teased at school for that! Kids are BRUTAL!!!
Reply:Nope, sorry, but he will be teased at school...
Reply:Why don't you give him a name he WON'T resent you for.
Reply:Ashley was originally a man's name. I wouldn't spell it with "leigh" on the end, though.

Reply:good way to get his *** kicked
