I want something unique, but not weird and "out there". Just some cute names that you dont here often

I REALLY need some ideas for a cute boys name and a girls name?
The best names are names that mean something to you, and are more than just cute sounding. Maybe you can use a character from a favorite book or movie that has virtues you would like your child to have. Or, pick a name from the Bible (if you are religious), maybe a person from a slightly more obscure story with virtues you admire. Or, pick a name of someone in your family, especially from several generations back. The common names from 50 to 80 years ago are still familiar to people's ears, but they are uncommon and unique in this generation. For example here are my kids names (but don't copy the names, because they would not be special to you, but do copy the thought process that led to the names):

Jael, who was a brave Old testament woman who killed an enemy general (see book of Judges)

Evelyn (Evie for short), who was my husband's step-grandmother and had a huge impact on his life.

Jeff Jr. (J.J. for short) named after my husband.

All my kids have a nice story behind their names, not just something cutesy. They all have names that point to a positive role model.
Reply:If you go to a maternity store they have some of the best baby name books there. Its really fun to look through them all and pronounce them outloud as if you already had your newborn and it really helps.

You need to see what works with your surname.
