I like the name October Louise. Does it really sound like a boys name?

I asked everyone to choose between October Louise and London Elizabeth. But I'm having twins! I just found out. So I get to use both names! I think they are modern and unique. They definatly sound better then Hannah or Shaniqua. So tell me do you think this is a good choice for names?

I like the name October Louise. Does it really sound like a boys name?
I love London Elizabeth, but October Louise is a hard swallow.

Along the same concept (city, seasons)

Autumn Louise

September Louise

Summer Louise

Sydney Louise

Milan Louise

October just sounds masculine to me.
Reply:I like the name October, but not for a boy.
Reply:I think October Louise is a nice name, no one else will have it. Longon Elizabeth is also nice name. Congrats on the twins
Reply:I think they are both beautiful. They are unique without being weird and having that "oh, that poor kid" factor. LOL And they don't sound like boys' names at all to me. Congratulations!
Reply:I think they are interesting names. Louise is definitely NOT a favorite of mine... it sounds like a really old lady's name. (Actually its my grandma's middle name). But if you like them, then thats all that matters. If you are naming one twin London have you thought about naming the other one a place like Brooklyn? That would be a cute name too.
Reply:October is a month and London is a city. They are not names to stick a child with for the rest of her life.

Hannah Louise actually sounds really nice, although Shaniqua is terrible. I would go with Elizabeth Anne.
Reply:I don't think they sound masculine at all. They are very modern and unique as you mentioned! Congratulations with your double blessing.
Reply:How about Octavia Louise?
Reply:um october is pretty but i dont like the middle name..louise..they would hate you.. no offence lol

but no it duznt sound like a boys name...october sounds girly. and i really like london elizabeth
Reply:I think Louise is horrid, personally...and do the names flow with your last name? They sound like you're trying very very hard.
Reply:I think names that are from months and cities and countries are over used and as the child grows older, they may not appreciate their name.
Reply:I love it! Go for it! And congrats...twins! =]
Reply:I'm not a fan of October Louise. However, it mignht be cute to either stay with the month theme and name them October Louise and Augusta Ann. Or go with the city name theme and name them Londyn Elizabeth and Berlynn Catherine. Other good cities would be Paris, Milan, Brooklyn, Albany, Bostyn, etc.
Reply:LOVE LOVE LOVE London Elizabeth!!

October Louise is very cute but when i see Louise i think of a girl's name...You should use the spelling Luis. I think it just looks more boyish...but anyway VERY good names! Congrats on Twins!
Reply:I like October (sounds unisex) and like London (also unisex), if you like them don't worry people will get used to them.
Reply:Sorry, but I actually prefer Hannah AND Shaniqua over October and London. October and London aren't names, one is a month and one is a city!!
Reply:No, and I hope you don't name any boys with those names.
Reply:they definitely sound better than shaniqua! for gosh sakes give the child a proper name! why do you want to name your daughter after a city or a month?

whats wrong with

Elizabeth Louise

a very pretty name!
Reply:October Louise is a good name, great flow and I don't think it sounds like a boy name. Im not a huge fan of London being that city names are getting all too popular..

congrats on the twins...
Reply:Oh please. Not October! Wat would her nickname be?
Reply:I would not choose to name my children after a month and a city even though they are unique ( maybe that is why?)

Louise is the feminine form of Louis and will not be mistaken for the male counterpart.

Here are some suggestions for Louise

Suzanne Louise

Susan Louise

Mary Louise

Anna Louisa ( note different)

Amy Louise

Hannah Louise sounds good actually

You might get away with the London name but maybe for your childs sake switch it around to Elizabeth London
Reply:i really like them but would they have a nickname if they had the name october louise
Reply:London Elise
Reply:i never hear a person name october but if that u name that make u happy just go for it :) and it really cool name because its different... and new name ;)
Reply:I love the name October!!! That is just beautiful!! Are you having two girls, or a girl and a boy?? London does sound masculine, so if you have a girl, I saw London spelled Londyn which does look a lot more feminine... just a thought... I also just met a girl named Koral (Coral)... I thought that was just beautiful! Good luck and congratulations on your precious twins!!
Reply:I would not want either name! How about Cheyanne and London?
Reply:October is horrible especially for a girl,, think of all the hideous nick names the kids in school will come up with ..... don't try soo hard... you can have unique and beautiful names without causing your kids psychological harm
Reply:I think they're goofy...sorry :o)
