Reply:Holdin' books, holdin' hands, etc - too many chances to get teased at school. What about Logan, Riley, or Aidan since you're looking for an Irish name from the looks of it.

Just a suggestion: Look for a name that has a good meaning. It counts when people ask what does your name mean, that happens alot to me befor and now. My old name had an association with a bad word, idols and luck. My new name means Crown in German, and in Hebrew is spelled Stephen. Stephen is a Bible Hero too.
Reply:Austin. It's important to remember that names do have meanings, and most of those "unique" ones don't even have a meaning. So be prepared to tell people what your son's name means when a person asks you in excitement "That is such a unique name..what does it mean?". It's also to remember that sometimes kids pick on other kids in school that have "unique" names. Think of your child, not impressing your friends when you name a child.





And don't listen to the woman who said to give the word "Holster" as your son's middle name. People are crazy. lol

Reply:I love Holden. No matter what you choose there are ways to make fun of it so dont listen to them. I really do not like Flynn though. I knew a boy in school with that as a last name. Also it sounds like Flim that crap you get in your nose and mouth. Colten is good, I also like Cole. Im having a girl and boy names just seem so much easier

Of your other choices I like Colten (although I prefer the spelling Colton) the best.

Reply:Holden... sounds country. Its cute but I am a country girl. Personally I like Colten....but I think it would sound really good if you did the middle name something that sounds like a last name as well.....
