Atreyu was the boy's name. His horse's name was Artax, and the luck dragon's name is Falcor.

Whoops, my bad, the dragon was named Falkor and the horse was Artax. Out of sight, out of mind I suppose (horse sunk into great nothing in the middle of the movie).
Reply:Atreyu....he was played by a different actor in each movie
