We like it because it's different but not to different, if you get what I mean. It's not something people will be like, how do you spell that or he will get picked on. I just wanted to see what you all think. :-)

What do you think of my baby boys name?
Trent Michael is a good combination. And it's not overused but it's not too different, just like you want.





I dont like Trenton Michael--it sounds trendy and pretentious. You guys did a good job with the naming; stick with the original.

Reply:Like you said, Trent is a relatively difficult name for people to: A) misspell, B) mispronounce, and C) make up stupid nicknames for. And it's still unique enough that you're not likely to have 3 other Trents in his kindergarten class.





Those have got to be some of the most important considerations in naming your child.





Plus if/when he goes through the "I hate my name" phase (seems like most kids do), he's got a nice versatile middle name to use. You picked a good name.
