How do you like this Boys Name?

Christopher James





My wife likes it because she can shorten the first name to Chris. I like it because I can call him C.J. but my wife throws a fit and says I can't call him that.

How do you like this Boys Name?
I love love love that name. Don't worry, just wait a few years and his friends will be calling him C.J. and Kristof and allsorts!

Reply:I love that name. I could be partial though CHristopher is my hubbies name and james is my daddys name. On the other hand I like calling a child what their name is. Cute nickk names are okay but if you name your son christopher that is what I would call him. I have 7 kids all with very long grown up names.
Reply:I like both the name and C.J. Compromise. She calls him Chris (which I don't care for) you call him C.J. then wait and see how he introduces himself to friends and family.
Reply:I think that name is okay... but it sounds SOOOO common and generic. Almost too classic. I'm in my late 20's and can remember classrooms filled with Chris's, Amanda's, and Jessica's.





I do however like C.J.
Reply:Tell ya what. Put "Christopher James" on the boy's birth certificate and let him call himself whatever he wants (even "Jim" or "Jimmy"). Save "Christopher James" for when you're mad at him. (Ex.: "Christopher! Christopher James! Come here! NOW!")
Reply:Christopher is on my list of all time worst names. Not to mention it is so un-original. It will just be shortened to Chris, so why not just call him that. What is wrong with CJ?





What about Callum James Or Caden James. Don't call him Christopher, just DON'T do it.

Reply:Its a very good name! The problems you and your wife have on how you call him will go away over time and yall will get to call him whatever you want. He will respond no matter what you call him!
Reply:I love it! CJ is cute! You should call him CJ, your wife can call him Chris. He can decide for himself when he's older what he prefers.

Reply:I really like that name its handsome and sounds like a grown up name. i have a freind name aaron james and they call him A.J.!! I like it when you can shorten it like that. I do like the name C.J. hoped i helped and congradulations.
