I think Samuel or Daniel for a boy
Caitlyn or Melissa for a girl
but i'm not to sure
help please!
What do you think, is the most common boys and girls name?
For girls - Madison, Addison, Hannah and Britney are pretty overdone these days. I am SO sick of hearing those names. My son has a few of each in his class (more Madison's, sadly). Kaitlynn (or other spellings) were pretty common in my day, though I notice at school w/my kids.
Boys - Parker, Carter, Carson, Aidan (or other spellings) and Jonas are being overdone where I'm from. Aidan is such a wimpy name for a boy. It irks me the most.
Reply:According the the US social security administration, in the year 2007 Jacob and Emily were the most common names used for babies. http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/
Overall though, throughout time, I'm not sure=] You could use the website I gave you to help figure that out, they have a popularity ranking for all years!
