What is your opinion on the boys name Tayven, weird and out-there or unique and cute?

Well I think it sounds strong and it has a sweet sound that sticks on you. I think it sounds like a African American name. However it's organ is actually German meaning of the staff of the gods.

I like it because it's not a name everyone has.

but you know what, it should really matter what other people say, yeah you can ask if they like it or not, but dont be persued by the number of poeple who dont like it! its the name you like so i say stick with it!

Reply:I think it looks a little alien spelled like that. If it were Tavin or Tevin it would be more masculine, compact and familiar-looking (think Gavin or Kevin for example), but still a little special. Taven would do as well, but in my opinion the 'en' ending is slightly feminine.
Reply:I really don't understand the sudden jump in popularity for boy's names ending in -en. Jayden is my least favorite name EVER. So I'm not really feeling it but choose it if you must.
Reply:I totally agree with the guy who says it sounds like a warlord. It really, seriously does. If you want something similar but not so warlordish... maybe Taynan or Tayson or even Tayton ? None of these are something I would personally choose but are better than Taven. Maybe Teenan or Teegan? Go to www.babynames.com. There are tons of names on there. Maybe something else will stand out to you that is a little less space agey.
