What is a cool old fashioned boys name?

I am about to have my 4th baby. All my children have older names, but I am stuck for a boys name this time.

If it is a girl, it will be Ruby.

What is a cool old fashioned boys name?
Ruby is cool ;-)

It would be a help if I knew the other names of your children, to get an idea what you like.

I like the names Nathan, William or Samuel, but I don't know if you like them.

Reply:If youre looking for old fashioned names, I would look to the Bible or to your grandfathers (I wouldnt recommend my grandfathers--there are a lot of Mordecai's and Abrahams...lol).

If I had had a fourth son, I would have named him Sawyer...old fashioned, yet still has a nice ring to it.
Reply:wiliam, charlie and henry
Reply:my daughter is also expecting a boy. think his name is going to be Quincey. we found it in a baby book, but also found it in our family history. congrads.

Reply:All else fails turn to the Bible always can find a good name there.
Reply:How about Ulysses? Samson? Hiram? Beaureguard? Grant? Rooney? Arden? Charleton? Daniel? Ephraim? Frances? Hannibal? Jubal? Lawrence? Joshua (my oldest son's name)? Matthew (my middle son's name)? Nathaniel? Oscar? Thomas Jonathan? Victor? Woodrow? Xavier? Zack? Zeke? Jed?

John Joseph? Dwight David? All of the above are names of famous warriors, presidents, leaders of men, including the last: Dwight David, aka General of the Armies and President Eisenhower. Or you could name him after my great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather, an Irishman we all call "Captain Andy" - Andrew Nickel was a captain in the Fourth Batallion, Virginia Militia in the War of 1812 (U.S.)
Reply:What are your other childrens names? I to have all old fashioned names. Try Emory, Elliott, Edward, Reagan, William, James, Charles, Vallace, Arthur, Henry, Jack, Frank, Samuel, Silas, Piper, Lennon, Nicholas, Mathyas, Avery, and some others I can't think of.
Reply:Christopher Nicholas is a nice old fashioned boys name. They are always very smart children, do well in school and it is a christian name. Good luck with your new baby and all your other children as well.
Reply:I've attached a link for the baby name generator--it's a hoot! Of course, I think Bruce is a great older name--Willis and Springstein and me!
