Reply:Something not super trendy and something that doesn't sound like he is a nancy boy or a pretentious twerp.
Reply:We picked Niall (gaelic form of Neil but pronounced NYE like Bill Nye) and Callum, scottish-gaelic form of Malcolm.
It's always good to have a slightly different name, but whatever you do, don't pick a current soap-opera or movie star name (Jude, River, Liam) because when your child starts school in 6 years, everyone and their dog will have that name.
And please spell it correctly. Michael is NOT spelled Myekaal. It's like wearing a t-shirt that says "Hi, my parents were illiterate."
Good luck.
Reply:what's your last name? it helps to have a first name that goes with the last...

I'm picky as well- so I went through a big baby name book and highlighted the ones I liked- which weren't many, and went from there. It was also neat seeing the meanings of the names.

Reply:Well, my husband and I were looking for names that maybe reminded us of Vegas since we got married there 2 years ago and it's our fav place. We thought of all kinds of crazy ones ( Newton, Vegas, Elvis...etc. ) and then I came up with Sahara. We stayed at the Sahara Hotel when we got married.......now that we know it's a girl it is one of our choices. Maybe my suggestion will help you come up with a special one of your own. My husband got me a book from the library called, "So you named me what?" It's about celebrities and thier baby names..... maybe that will help. We decided Sahara will be the middle name and here is our other choices:
1. Charlotte (Charley for short)
2. Darla
3. Lila
1. Jayden
2. Brandon
3. Joseph
